What kind of contracts does your day care providers have you sign?
What all different kinds of contracts do you have to sign in order to have your child in a day care? What policies do you & don't you like? What policies do you wish they had?

- the only thing i had to agree to was advance notice of no longer using their services (usually 30 days or 14 days.) the only thing that i never liked about day care itself is that its just that...daycare...i wish someone would realize that there would be a lot of money to be made with evening care. most places close at 5-6pm. these days moms and dads have to work weird hours (7pm, 8pm, 9pm) only other issue is the HUGE late fee's they charge if you are late. i have seen places be as high as $5 per min! that's why i took my daughter out of it this summer bc my boyfriend works at the court house down town and traffic was horrible. he almost got into car accidents just to get there in time so i didnt have to pay extra.
- There was something detailing their fee policy, late fees, giving two weeks notice for withdrawal. There was something stating their sick policy, you must pick up your child within two hours if blah, blah, blah All the daycares I looked at had pretty much the same stuff, a lot of it (the sick care things) are required by the state laws.
