How do you boil boneless chicken breasts or tenders correctly? I usually cut my boneless skinless chicken breasts into slices about 1 inch thick just as if I had purchased chicken tenders or strips. I boil them to make chicken salad. I am always afraid to under cook so I tend to boil too long and they are tough. Last time it seems like I only boiled them for about 10 minutes and some of them were tough. Should I bring to a rapid boil and then reduce to medium and cook for about 5-7 minutes longer? Am I correct when they say, the longer you cook it the more tough it becomes?

How can you tell if Chicken tenders are still good to use? The experation date was 7 days ago but they still look good. After I rinced them they smelled ok. If I cook them throughly will they be save to eat? Thank you all for all your answers. I found a website called cooking 911 and the Purdue people said that when you open a package of meat sometimes you can smell a sulfer smell that goes alway in a few minutes. I threw alway anything that had a smell after I wash it; then I cooked it for 40 minutes in cream of chicken soup. and then teased fine so I ate a little and gave the rest to the dog and cooked a steak. No sence in taking chances. Now I have a little head ache, probably from worrie. Thank you, again. (sorry no spell check)

What is meant if someone tenders their shares from stock? My boss purchased 1000 chares of life insurance stock for $5000.00. She hasn't been able to get a hold of the company, but now they are giving her the option of tendering shares through an auction. The shares will be auctioned off at $1.00 to $1.72 per share. I know that she would be loosing A LOT of money on this, but what does it mean to tender your shares and is it a good or bad idea to do so?
